		Author's Comments RAPTURE: Post-Tribulation and Pre-Wrath by Don Montgomery For years I have had a deep concern about the teachings and unrealistic expectations about the Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Most teachings ignore Scripture concerning our attitudes about His Coming. For instance, being BLESSED is promised to those who pay attention, look for and understand the prophecies of His Coming. This being BLESSED is stated seven times in the book of Revelation alone! (Revelation 1:3; 14:13; 16:15; 19:9; 20:6; 22:7,14). Being BLESSED means, basically, being "fully satisfied." The listed verses reflect Jesus Christ's desire for us to be "fully satisfied" by being with Him for eternity. But, those same verses include instructions such as: READ and HEAR the prophecies, KEEP (guard/watch for) the sayings of prophecy and WATCH for His Coming. And, Jesus gave a warning "...repent. If...thou shalt not watch...thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee" (Revelation 3:3). Also, other Scripture relate BLESSED to Jesus Christ's Coming and our keeping His words, watching and waiting faithfully six more times! (Matthew 24:46; Luke 12:37,38,43; 2 Timothy 4:8; Titus 2:13). Then, Jesus Christ tells us specifically to WATCH for His Coming an additional six times! (Matthew 24:42; 25:13; Mark 13:33,35,37; 1 Thessalonians 5:6). Our Lord Jesus Christ wants us to understand, prepare, watch and yearn for His coming! The Groom wants His Bride and wants Her to want Him! Do we understand how important this is in our personal relationship with Him? Please be prepared for Him (and for yourself)! Learn of the various explanations about His Coming and, then, let His Spirit guide to understanding the Hope of His Coming and Rapture of His Church. To me, one of the most mind-boggling verses in the Bible is Luke 12:37, "Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them."
